"baby we were born to run"

unfortunately some people spend their lives running and never reach their destination.

a childhood friend killed herself last night. i'm pretty devastated. even though we lost contact our parents are friends so i always knew what was going on in her life. and it was such a sad life. throughout her teens she was in and out of psychiatric hospitals, suffered anorexia, she just felt unloved and out of control. well she ended all the pain last night when she threw herself off a bridge and drowned.

if someone like me, who really hasn't been close to her in these past years feels like this, i can't even begin to fathom how her parents and brothers feel.

i hope she's at peace at last... that's the only good thing i can take from this. that now she can stop running and have the peace that she was seeking.
