it could almost be time for a celebratory drink. which is way better than just a drink. i mean i don't need an excuse, but when you have something to celebrate, the buzz is so much better. but the hangover regardless of the occasion is always the same. anyway...

i saw my oncologist yesterday. i might be through with the chemotherapy. yay! there is a slight downside to this though. the reason for the early end to my chemo is because there's early signs of scarring on my lungs. one of the wonderful side effects of the chemo. but no one seems to be ultra concerned and because the chemo is not really necessary, more precautionary, my doctor recommends ceasing the treatment. i just have to have one more breathing test then i'll either be celebrating or undergoing another year of chemo. unfortunately with christmas coming up, i have to wait until january to find out.

i might get my life back sooner than i expected.
